My French Pal
My French Pal is a service based in Paris created by a French passionate language learner, Christela.
Born and raised in Paris, Christela has travelled and lived in the UK and in China as an adult, where she not only improved her English and her mandarin Chinese, but she also experienced first-hand how much the help from locals to understand the language and culture better can make a difference in one's language-learning process.
My French Pal's goal is to offer anyone who wants to learn or improve their French the possibility to have French conversations with a native French speaker whenever they want.
Our goal is also to provide those curious about France and the French culture the possibility to have insights into the French culture by an insider.
For those living in Paris, the conversations can be done face to face over a cup of coffee, at the restaurant, the museum, in a park or during a walk along the Seine...
And last but not least, we offer help for proofreading documents in French (thesis, letters, emails, website, etc.), and help with administrative processes in French (whether it be help to open a phone line, a bank account, register at school, at a hospital or make administrative phone calls). The team is French and completely fluent in English.
